Michigan Educational Consultant: troubled teens, teens in crisi

Connie Wood  is the founder and owner of A Circle of Hope. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology and has over twenty years of experience specializing in  working with parents of challenging children. With this strong clinical background, she is uniquely qualified to work with complex cases requiring residential levels of care. 

Connie travels extensively in order to gain in-depth knowledge of the programs to which she refers.

 

 Working only for our clients, she does not receive any compensation from any program in the form of salary or commission for making a referral. 

Matt Wood joined a Circle of Hope in 2018 after working for over 8 years in the fields of Wilderness Therapy and Residential Treatment. 

Matt is a gradute of the National Outdoor Leadership School. His areas of speciality are wilderness therapy, young adult transition and substance abuse treatment.  

He sits on the board of the Parker Bounds Johnson Foundation, a non-profit  organization promoting wilderness therapy. The foundation provides scholarships for residents of the Pacific Northwest.

Matt enjoys working with their Wild Hearts program, providing aftercare adventure opportunities to wilderness graduates who were sponsored by the foundation.    https://pbjf.org/
